The Caminito del Rey, also known as the "King’s Path," is one of Spain’s most impressive hiking trails, attracting visitors from all over the world. It runs through the breathtaking Desfiladero de los Gaitanes gorge in the province of Málaga and offers dramatic views of steep cliffs, the Guadalhorce River, and the surrounding landscape.

Originally built in the early 20th century as an access path for workers at a hydroelectric plant, the Caminito was once considered one of the most dangerous walkways in Europe. After a complete renovation, it reopened in 2015 and is now a safe yet thrilling walk at dizzying heights.

The route is about 7.7 kilometers long and leads over wooden boardwalks, bridges, and narrow paths along the rock face. The highlight is the suspension bridge, which gives visitors an unforgettable view deep into the gorge. Walking the entire path takes around two to three hours and is perfect for nature lovers who seek both adventure and stunning scenery.
